Grace Lutheran School is pleased to introduce you to our new middle school math teacher, Danielle Pooler.  Mrs. Pooler will be teaching our 6th-8th grade advanced math classes.  Read her welcome letter below to learn a little bit more about this great addition to our middle school team.

Dear Grace Family,

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, I received my bachelor's degree in Education from Jacksonville University. I was in the classroom for ten years, teaching in both Henry County, Georgia and here in Duval County. It was after those ten years that I had my son who started attending Grace Lutheran when he was three. I always knew that Grace was going to be the right place for my child to go to school, and we are excited about fifth grade. After teaching, I have spent over eight years supporting hospital homebound students in kindergarten through twelfth grade attending virtual school. During that time, I was also able to complete my Master’s degree in Education.

I just celebrated my twentieth wedding anniversary! We enjoy spending time together, riding bikes, swimming, and going on adventures near and far. I was able to finish my first half-marathon this spring and I am looking forward to my second one this winter. I am truly blessed to have the support of my husband and son as I set new goals for myself and especially as I return to the classroom. We have grown spiritually during good times and those that have been a challenge. As I faced this new crossroad, I could not be prouder to have my son walk into a room and tell me to remember that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. As he grows academically and spiritually at Grace, I am looking forward to not only being a parent at Grace but now a part of the teaching family.
