Eagle's Nest Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Eagle’s Nest Concession

Combinations to both locks are in the 3-ring binder on Refrigerator.

Use the sanitary gloves when handling the food!

  1. Prepare necessary food prior to opening the concession stand!

    1. Heat Crock pot of cheese and chili.

    2. Make sure Hamburger and Hot Dog buns are defrosted.

    3. Heat hamburgers and chicken patties in microwave (3 patties at a time for 3 ½ minutes – Hamburger directions are on the box).  Both are precooked. Place in buns and foil wrap and store in warmer (Keep 5 on hand in warmer).

    4. Heat Corn dogs (55 seconds) and wrap in tin foil (3 corndogs).

    5. Brush water on Pretzels and dip one end in salt, store in warmer and microwave 15 seconds after purchase and before you hand it to customer.

    6. Plug in hotdog cooker and put 6 dogs on the rollers to cook. Keep your eye on the hotdogs; they do not need to be overcooked. When they look done, wrap in tin foil and put in warmer.

    7. Put condiments on one of the side desk tops with napkins. Mustard (spicy and regular), Ketchup, Mayo, Jalapeños, and relish.

    8. Clip all chip bags to Red Chip Holder.

    9. Place all candies on desks in front.

    10. Plug in Popcorn machine and cook one bag and fill popcorn boxes and store in popcorn machine.

    11. Put pickle jar on front desk with candy and get a pair of tongs from kitchen to retrieve pickles from jar.

    12. Keep chili and cheese stirred.

    13. All drinks come from the soda machine. We do not sell sodas.

There is a cash box with change in it. Keep it on the desk at the back wall. Also, we have a black note book with the names of parents or families that have a standing credit (tab). They have prepaid so they or their children can get snacks without worrying about having money. A sample page is located after the cover. You must keep track of the purchase(s) and record them in this book. If someone wants to pay ahead and have a tab, Michael Popp or Rick Hey must sign off for the credit to be given in the book.

If you are the last shift you must clean up and vacuum floor. Put everything in cabinet and refrigerator. Close down usually after the 3rd Qtr. of the last game.

Wash all utensils and occasionally as the chili or cheese nears the end of its life cycle, you must wash crock pot(s) completely out and put empty pot (and any full pot) in the refrigerator for the next game.

Put any chicken or hamburgers back into freezer and put buns in refrigerator. Don’t refreeze buns.

Clean out Popcorn Machine and whip the inside down good and empty the catch tray underneath.

Prior to the 3rd Quarter, make a push to sell any heated items (Popcorn, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Corn Dogs, Pretzels, etc.) If you cannot sell them…try half price and after awhile…just give them away. The referees usually want food at the end of the game, so you can give them anything that is left over.

Straighten room out as best you can and make sure desks are clean and the floor is vacuumed. After everything is put away in the cabinet or refrigerator…make sure they are both locked up.

Look up the cash box in the cabinet as well.

If we are out of a product, please fill out an inventory sheet and give to Michael Popp or Rick Hey.

Thank You.
