Our summer day camp and enrichment program includes daily Arts & Crafts, Sports & Games, and Bible time, plus special activities. Each week will also have a unique enrichment theme – indoor games, art, cooking, theater, science, and “road trip”. In addition to the regular program, there are also special sports camps during selected weeks. 

The sooner we can get enrollment information, the easier it is for us to plan. Of course we will still accept enrollments later if your circumstances change, subject to space availability. If you need another copy of the enrollment materials, you can download that from our web site. Thanks for your help!

The purpose of this message is to inform you about an important change to all Grace Lutheran Church and School email addresses as of June 15th, 2012. All Grace email addresses will be under a new domain name, gracelutheraneagles.org. The new format for all Grace staff email addresses for both the church and the school will be firstname_lastname@gracelutheraneagles.org. For example, Mrs. Tanner’s current email address is jennifer_tanner@gracelcms.com. After June 15th it will be jennifer_tanner@gracelutheraneagles.org. We are currently seeking a new slate of PTL Board officers for the 2012-2013 school year. The PTL Board is responsible for helping to plan and coordinate fellowship and fundraising events throughout the school year. The PTL Board works as a team to set goals, generate new ideas, organize events, recruit volunteers, and more. Through their work, the PTL Board helps make our school a stronger and more friendly place to be.

There are six roles on the PTL Board that need to be filled: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Room Parent Liaison, and Meeting Coordinator. If you would like to learn more about these opportunities or want to volunteer to serve, please contact Principal Jackson.

Grace Lutheran School will once again be using FACTS Tuition Management for the processing of tuition and fee payments for the 2012-2013 school year. The purpose of this note is to notify you that you will soon (by the middle of June) be receiving your initial invoice for the upcoming school year by email from FACTS. Please keep an eye out for this email so you don’t miss it.

This initial invoice will detail your total tuition and fees for the 12-13 school year based on the choices you indicated on your re-enrollment application. Upon receipt, you will need to go online following the link in the initial email to set up your payment preferences for the next school year. If you wish to change your payment plan (i.e. from prepay for the year to monthly auto), please contact the school office. If you are using the annual payment plan, your lump sum payment is due by July 1st. For those of you that have chosen a monthly option, the first payment will be due in August. FACTS has added some new features for the upcoming school year that should make it easier for you to review your account, make changes, make payments online, and more. We hope you enjoy the new services.

Please join us on Thursday, May 24th at 7:00 p.m. for our year end Spring Concert for our band, choir and hand bell chorus.

This will be an opportunity to hear our wonderful musical groups wrap up their year by sharing with us the culmination of all their hard work this school year. Band Director Matt Wagner and Choir Director Alicia Crespo have been working hard with our musicians. Please join us for this special event. See you there!

We’re Buying a Roof!

The students at Grace have voted and the results are in!  The goal for our final chapel project of the 2011-2012 school year is to raise $500 to buy roofing materials for a church in Arash, Tanzania.

Mr. and Mrs. Popp traveled to Arash last summer with Pastor Rick. This summer, Pastor Rick will be returning to Arash to help install the roof on the church. The church will need a total of $1,000 for the project to be completed.

Pastor Rick has pledged to match our chapel offerings dollar for dollar. Please give generously, and help us raise money to raise a roof in Africa!
